Tournament schedule -

Black Mountain Hua Hin Thai Champions Tour (TCT) 3-day 1,000,000 baht.

Possibly the favorite venue on our calendar, the course is always in excellent condition.

You can't win a tournament on the first day, but you can lose it.

After an excruciating 78 the first day, 70 or better was needed to make the cut. Thankfully the Golf Gods smiled on me on day 2 and I signed for an age equaling 64!

Day 3 the putter was considerably cooler but a 70 secured 14th place. 

Royal Hua Hin - Suthep Meesawat Invitational 2-day.      700,000 baht

I won this tournament in 2025 and looked forward to making a strong challenge this year.

Royal Hua Hin is the oldest course in Thailand set in the heart of the city. Narrow tree lined bone hard fairways makes accuracy off the tee the priority. 73,75 got me 7th place.

Alpine Chiang Mai TSPGA 3-day                                        2,000,000 baht

The Gods smiled on me once again; I broke my age with a 63 on the first day. 72 day 2 got me in the final group on day 3.

After a poor night's sleep, I felt ok, my warmup in the rain went well.  Once on the tee the rain stopped, I noticed we had a camera crew doing a live feed to Facebook and a small group of spectators following us. I felt surprisingly calm throughout the round.

The fear of making a fool of yourself can strangle a golfer, but I had a good tempo all day and managed not to get in my own way.  

I made the podium in 3rd place -10, great timing as this is one of the larger purses we play for. 

A great trip, one more tournament to go for me in 2025 at Phuket cc, another 2,000,000 Baht TSPGA event.                          I was a member there for 10 very happy years.  Also, the event organizers very kindly put my photo on the promo flyer, quite an honor to be pictured with the big boys on our tours!
